Sport
Here at St.Senan's we are passionate about all types of Sport; Hurling, Gaelic football, Soccer, Swimming and Athletics to name but a few. We train at lunchtime on a Friday. We are lucky to have a spacious PE hall, large playground along with numerous green playing fields surrounding us. This enables us to practice and develop our skills all year round.
We were awarded an Active Flag in early 2012 therefore we continue to work on this initiative throughout the academic year. The Active School Committee which comprises of our dedicated pupils are always willing to lend a hand in the yard, during Active School Week and of course with the eagerly anticipated annual Sports Day. Local coaches visit our school on a regular basis to demonstrate new drills and offer us advice. We have a healthy eating policy and make a conscious effort to drink water daily.

MUSIc & Dance
The talented school choir practices regularly often performing and entertaining the local community. Along with this we have many talented dancers and musicians in our school who are always willing to perform for us on special occasions.
Science
The pupils are enthusiastic about all curriculum subjects but they particularly excel and enjoy working as scientists. We have actively participated in local Science fairs, travelled on exciting scientific field trips and have been accredited with numerous awards. With the unique Shannon Estuary on our doorstep naturally our love of biodiversity is heightened.
